Elite Dance Studios, Shrewsbury was established in 2010 after 3 former years at Adcote School. Now based on Whitchurch Road, close to Shrewsbury town centre, we are celebrating the opening of our own studio on 5th January 2015, after a very successful 2014.

As a company, and while based at Adcote Schoo, and all-girls private school on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, we are proud to hold performances under our belt at various well-known national and international locations, including Broadway (NYC), Euro Disney, The Royal Albert Hall and Sadlers Wells theatre. Elite dancers also compete annually in Dance: Make Your Move, hosted by The British Red Cross. Competing here, dancers are involved in a routine that is based on the work of the Red Cross, encouraging many an educational opportunity. It is our delight to be hosting the Shrewsbury part of this Red Cross event.

Elite Dance Studios is home to our Senior, Intermediate and Junior competition teams, our Elite Event Team, dance classes in Contemporary, Street, Jazz, Acro, Modern and Ballet from 6 years to adult, and a range of fitness classes. As your local, friendly studio, we really do have something for everyone.

Dancers in our Event team are selected from our open weekly classes, with entry being by invite only. All classes are led by Natalie Prudence, Principal and Choreographer of Elite Dance Studios. Dancers for each team train weekly, and have the opportunity to compete in at least three competitions each year.

As a community-use dance and fitness studio, we are raising funds to enable us to purchase new equipment, with more variety. This will allow our current and new members to train to a higher level, while allowing us as a club to keep our costs to a minimum. We hope to convert our current lounge area into a fun, friendly and usable exercise space which will give us the opportunity to expand our current provision. Alongside this, we would love to be able to raise enough to be able to re-decorate and refurbish the facility, to give it a brighter, welcoming uplift - creating a positive learning environment.

We have also seen a real need for a Parkour club in Shropshire, we would like to utilise some of of the funds raised to develop the county first Parkour facility, giving the local community the chance to get active in a unique way.
