SOS: Save Our Squash (Club) Dulverton and Exmoor Squash Club is in the picturesque town of Dulverton, the ‘gateway to Exmoor’. It is small members only club with players of all ages (teens to seventies) and ability. The club boasts what are probably the best squash courts on Exmoor. The club was built and paid for by members of the local community for the community and it was opened in 1984. The courts are a fantastic asset to Dulverton and the surrounding district of the Exmoor National Park. The committee and membership consider themselves as merely custodians of this wonderful facility for future generations. Following storms in late 2016 the main roof needs to be replaced. Fortunately for the club the insurers will contribute 50% of a replacement roof. However, being a charitable and not for profit club we have very limited funds and cannot afford the remainder of the costs for a new roof. The shortfall in funding is £5,000 which we aim to raise through a crowdfunding campaign.
