falcons logoFormed in 2006, London Falcons quickly became one of the leading gay-friendly football teams in the country. A healthy competitive attitude to action on the pitch, combined with a lively social scene made the Falcons the team to be a part of in London. Success quickly followed, with three GFSN National League titles and four LUL titles between 2008 and 2012.

Since then, our ambitions have expanded you can now find the Falcons competing in international competitions.  In recent years we've been to Budapest, Dublin and Hamburg, and were victorious in the inaugural IGLFA European Cup in the 2nd division in Manchester in 2011.

The club went through a rebuilding phase between 2013 and 2016 and, while we reached two GFSN Cup finals in 2013 and 2016, we were struggling and almost called it a day at the end of the 2015/16 season.

However, to say we've rebounded back is an understatement.  In the 2016/17 season a new group of players joined the club and we didn't look back, winning the LUL title for a fifth time and scoring an average of four goals per game!

Looking ahead, we have very ambitious plans to grow the club and enter a team in a Saturday league for the 2018/19 season.  We're also planning to enter the Paris Gay Games in August 2018.

We continue to emphasise a hard-working, competitive attitude on the pitch and to make this a club where gay or straight men make friends for life by joining in with the lively social scene.  Whether it's a day spent go-karting, a night at the greyhounds or one of the many nights out in Clapham or Soho, you can be sure to have a great time by joining London Falcons FC.

We want to push on and develop a second team and need more kit and equipment. We would be very grateful to anyone who can help us out. Every penny counts!
