I am raising money for assistance in helping me achieve my 2018 Goals of winning my 3rd consecutive European Masters 60 metres hurdles title on Spanish soil, (Madrid in March 2018), and my attempt to win my first World masters outdoor 100m hurdles title in Malaga.

Receiving this funding will take some financial pressure off me, and also allow me to channel more personal funds to essential physiotherapy and sports massage treatments, to maintain a healthy preparation period. The funding will allow me totally focus on my training and preparation.

In 1978 I started hurdling at secondary school aged 15. In the same year  joined Luton Athletic Club and as a life member have remained loyal to them despite having opportunities to joined the more glamorous London based clubs.

In 1979 at the age of 16, I realised my potential when winning  the UK national youth 100m hurdles title In a UK aged best time of 13.3 Seconds. I have won UK youth, junior and senior medals and titles and also represented England and Great Britain  in all age groups

When I turned 40 In 2003 I pressed the reset button to embark on my masters athletics career. 39 years after starting athletics  I am proud to say that I am still passionate and able to compete at a high level over the ‘sticks’!
