Members of the squash club completed the first half of our crowdfunding events today. It was litter picking in the lanes between Exebridge and Bampton, just of the southern border of the Exmoor National Park. It was a rewarding but a very soggy experience. It is saddening me that so many people in this country are thoughtless litter bugs. The most prolific items collected were discarded takeaway drinks containers, the waxed paper variety that don’t recycle and empty cider cans. At least the cider cans are in keeping with the West Country! Next weekend we will complete the second half of my challenge by playing continuous on Saturday before retiring to the pub for sustenance. Thank you to all for our sponsors,
