Turn on the Lights at Truro Canoe Racing Club

We are trying to raise £25,000 to turn our boat store into a place where our club will truly flourish - able to extend training, develop talent and see dreams come true! With a clubhouse we would meet for land-based technical coaching when the weather and tide turned against us, hold information evenings and invite many more people in to learn about kayak racing. Broken windows give such a bad impression, suggesting a neglected and unloved building which is so wrong. Once you get inside, the atmosphere is buzzing and electric and to attract more kids and their parents we need to show this on the outside as well. Read more

Save Hockey in the North East

In order for us to achieve our goal of growing as a club, inspiring more people to play hockey and being self-sufficient we need to raise £200,000. Having our own pitch will support our vision of developing hockey in the area through providing coaching, umpiring and a space for people to play. We currently do a substantial amount of work with local schools but having our own facility will allow us to build more relationships with our local community and schools. Read more

Northampton Judo Club Future Fund

The club currently faces a number of challenges to ensure that it can continue to develop and be successful in the future. The main challenge is to secure enough finance to train and revalidate the coaching team (level 2 coaching courses are particularly expensive, costing over £450 plus expenses). We also need to be able to raise funds to enable both Junior and senior players to train for and enter competitions, often on a nationwide basis, and to improve and replace worn out mats and equipment Read more
